*Sindhudurg, D-28:-* Considering the oppression of women in the society at present, Rotary Club of Sindhudurg Central in collaboration with “Sindhuratna Sports Academy” organized “Majhi Dhadasi Baheen” to teach self-defense lessons to women to become self-reliant and protect themselves. Under the mission, self-defence lessons were given at New English School Kasal and Junior College and College of Nursing School Kasal-Gavrai.
Sindhuratna Sports Academy black belt holders in Judo-Karate national level mentors Omkar Sawant, Aviraj Khandekar, Ms. Baldutt Sawant provided excellent guidance to the girls from both the colleges.
Rotary Club of Sindhudurg Central President, Victor Fernandes, Secretary, Arun Malankar, Treasurer, Deepak Alve, Chartered President of Rotary Club of Sindhudurg Central, Dr. Prashant Kolte, Rotarian Sagar Kushe, Satyawan Chavan, Principal of Kasal High School, Uttam Malgaonkar, Teachers and Vice Principal and Professor of Nursing School were present
Dr. Prashant Kolte and Ro. Deepak Alve guided the college girls present.
