ADEN โ The Balsam Association for Training and Health Development has announced the launch of a Neurosurgery Campaign at Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden, running from August 17 to 23.
The initiative is being supervised by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action (KSrelief) and aims to perform 25 free neurosurgeries while examining and diagnosing more than 200 cases.
The campaign is being carried out in cooperation with a team of Yemeni doctors and the Balsam Association team, under the supervision of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SDRPY).
Professor Ibrahim Al-Naami, a Consultant and Professor of Neurosurgery at King Khalid University and Head of the Balsam Associationโs Medical Team, emphasized the campaign’s commitment to success and adherence to KSreliefโs guidelines, known for its global leadership in humanitarian work.
The Balsam Association has a history of successful medical campaigns in Yemen, including one in May focused on open-heart surgeries and interventional catheterization at the same hospital, where 251 procedures were successfully performed. The current campaign continues the associationโs noble mission of providing critical medical care to those in need, in collaboration with local Yemeni medical professionals.
