*Savantwadi, D-04:-* On behalf of Namdar Deepak Kesarkar Mitra Mandal, Sawantwadi every year on the occasion of September 5 Teacher’s Day, meritorious teachers are honored by giving ‘Guruseva Samman Puraskar’. This year is the eleventh consecutive year of the award and this year’s awards have been announced to the teachers who have performed exceptionally well. The form of this award is certificate, memento, shawl, shrifal and book gift. With the inspiration of the State School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar and the suggestion of Rajan Pokle, Aba Kesarkar, Nandu Shirodkar of Namdar Deepak Kesarkar Mitra and Bharat Gawde, Mahadev Desai, Vitthal Kadam, Ajay Sawant, D. S. Patil’s selection committee has selected teachers who have made special contributions for the award. The awards will be distributed by School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar soon.
