Minister of Hajj to begin India visit on Tuesday

MAKKAH β€” Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah will begin on Tuesday an official visit to India within the framework of the international communication tours pertaining to Hajj and Umrah.

The minister will hold a number of meetings with Indian leaders, businessmen and investors in the Hajj and Umrah services. Both sides will discuss coordination and cooperation in facilitating the arrival of pilgrims from India to the two holy cities of Makkah and Madinah. It is also planned to hold the Nusuk introductory platform exhibition, and the Tashir center to provide easier and simpler visa services and procedures for the Indian pilgrims.

The Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including senior officials of the ministry, as well as partners of the Hajj and Umrah system, and representatives of the private sector, in addition to parties and agencies related to serving the pilgrims.

The visit is part of the continuous efforts of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to build bridges of communication and cooperation with the countries of the world and to introduce the exceptional services provided by the Kingdom to the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors to enrich their experiences and help them perform their rituals in ease and comfort.

The visit aims to shed light on the Kingdom’s efforts in serving pilgrims and various services provided to them as well as to introduce the multiple advantages of the electronic Umrah visa and the Nusuk platform. During the visit, the minister will discuss with the Indian officials about the qualitative shift in procedures and services for the pilgrims as well as the future plans for hosting Hajj and Umrah pilgrims in accordance with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
