In the background of the upcoming assembly elections in the state, the state government has currently blasted popular slogans and decisions. Another decision was added to this on Friday. Accordingly, now an important decision has been taken for the dabewallas of Mumbai. Under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, houses are going to be built by MHADA for the dabewallas in Mumbai. The tanner community will also benefit from this scheme. Under this scheme, the dabbawalas and tanners of Mumbai will get a 500 square feet house in Mumbai for just Rs 25 lakh. Deputy Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis announced this in the House a few days ago. Against this backdrop, the Association of Dabewalas met Devendra Fadnavis at Sahyadri Guest House on Friday morning. In the meeting held on this occasion, a memorandum of understanding was reached regarding giving houses to the Dabawalas in Mumbai. For the last several years, the pursuit was being started for the Dabawalas to get a house in Mumbai. Finally these efforts have succeeded.
