Mallikarjun Kharge’s meeting pavilion blown up in Nashik, two Congress workers injured

Nashik :The battle for Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024 has started. Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi are campaigning vigorously in the state. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has organized a meeting for the campaign of Congress candidate Lucky Jadhav in Igatpuri-Trimbakeshwar Assembly Constituency today.

But the tent of this meeting suddenly blew up. It is reported that two activists were injured.

Igatpuri-Trimbakeshwar Assembly Constituency is a reserved constituency for Scheduled Tribes. The current MLA Hiraman Khoskar, who was elected on the Congress ticket in the 2019 elections from this constituency, has joined Ajit Pawar’s NCP Ajit Pawar Group in the Mahayuti after beating the Congress. Hiraman Khoskar has been announced as a candidate from Ajit Pawar’s group and Congress has fielded Lucky Jadhav from Mahavikas Aghadi.

Pavilion blown down due to storm

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s meeting was organized today for Lucky Jadhav’s campaign. The tent erected for this meeting suddenly blew up due to the storm. It is being reported that two activists were slightly injured due to the explosion of the meeting hall. As the mandap was blown down, it was seen that the tarambal was blown up in the meeting place. The convoy of Mallikarjun Kharge, which left from the helipad, returned back again. After this, Mallikarjun Kharge again entered the venue. What will Mallikarjun Kharge say from this meeting? Everyone is paying attention to this now.

Igatpuri Congress stronghold

In the Igatpuri-Trimbakeshwar Assembly Constituency this year we will see a fight between NCP and Congress. If we review the history of this constituency since 1980, Congress has won five elections namely 1980, 1985, 1995, 2009 and 2014. The saffron of Shiv Sena was hoisted on this constituency in two consecutive elections in 1999 and 2004. Pandurang Gangad in 1999 and Kashinath Mengal in 2004 won on Shiv Sena ticket. In a single election in 1990, the lotus of BJP blossomed in the form of Yadavrao Wamble.
