*Savantwadi, D-02:-* At Nhaveli Gram Panchayat in Sawantwadi taluka, the portrait of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri who raised the slogan “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan” were saluted on their birth anniversary. Also, on this occasion, activities like non-violence day, cleanliness day were implemented in the village. Sarpanch of Nhaveli village Ashtavinayak Dhauskar, Deputy Sarpanch Akshay Parsekar along with Forest Officer, Agriculture Officer and Gram Panchayat staff were present during this programme.
