Mahasanskrit Mahotsav in Ratnagiri from 11th to 15th February on the occasion of 350th Shiva Rajyabhishek year

Ratnagiri : On the occasion of the 350th coronation year, Mahasanskrit Mahotsav will be held in the district from February 11 to 15. Out of this, there will be programs showcasing Maharashtra's culture, folk traditions, local festivals and celebrations.

Guardian Minister Uday Samant held a meeting of the administration today through television system regarding its planning. Collector M Devender Singh, Chief Executive Officer Kirti Kiran Pujar, Tehsildar General Hanumant Mhetre, Chief Officer Tushar Babar, District Rehabilitation Officer Maruti Borkar, District Disaster Management Officer Ajay Suryavanshi and others were present in this meeting.

Guardian Minister Shri. Samant said, the state government has taken a government decision regarding organizing the Maha Sanskriti Mahotsav on the occasion of 350th year of coronation of Shiva. Accordingly, planning should be done assuming the dates of 11th to 15th February in our district. For this, fix the place Pramod Mahajan Sports Complex. Painting, Oratory and Essay competitions should be organized through the Primary and Secondary Education Officers. Time should be given to folk arts like Dashavatar, Jakhadi, Naman. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj pictorial hall, tourism hall should be planned. Sales stalls of savings groups should be planned. Priority should be given to locals in the planning of this great culture festival.

Collector Shri. Singh gave a presentation on planning. He said, definitely, we will do Dimakhdar Mahotsav by giving preference to the district and local art forms as well as local people. Planning is underway.
