Maharashtra Maja’ in Photograph, Reels and Short Film Competition. Extension of time till September 15 to participate in the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations initiative.

Mumbai Dt. 01 : The Directorate General of Information and Public Relations has announced this competition to showcase the progress of Maharashtra through visual and audio-visual medium. ‘Maharashtra Maja’ photo, reels and short film competition based on the ancient, historical heritage of Maharashtra and various important schemes of the government has been organized. Last date to participate in the competition was 31 August 2024. The deadline for participation has been extended to September 15, 2024. Photographs, reels and short films related to Maharashtra’s agriculture, education, social, cultural, water conservation, water resources, infrastructure, health, tourism and environment, forest etc schemes based on the concept ‘Maharashtra Mazha’ can be sent for the competition. Prizes of Rs.25,000, Rs.20,000 and Rs.15,000 respectively will be awarded to the selected photographs, reels and short films for the first, second and third places and fifteen incentive prizes of Rs.3,000 will be given. Among the photographs received in this competition, the quality photographs will be exhibited in the Trimurti premises of the Ministry as well as across the state. Also, the reels and short films will be publicized through the social media of the government. A committee of experts will be appointed to select quality photographs received from across the state for exhibition. COMPETITION RULESPhotography Contest :* Photographs should be of standard size of 18×30 inches HD.* Concept of photograph should be in accordance with the concept suggested by Directorate General of Information and Public Relations.* Photograph should be own creativity.* Photographs should not contain any inappropriate scenes.* No copyright material should be used.* Photograph of A detailed description is expected.* The copyright of the photographs of the participants in the competition will be with Directorate General of Information and Public Relations. Reels Competition* Time limit for reels should be maximum 1 minute.* Indecent language, offensive words will not be used. PLEASE NOTE.* MULTIPLE ENTRIES NOT ALLOWED.* CONTEST OPEN TO ALL 18 YEARS AND ABOVE.* STANDARD REEL FORM IS EXPECTED.* REELS MUST BE NEW AND CREATED SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS CONTEST.* PROPRIETARY RIGHTS INFORMATION FOR REELS SUBMITTED TO THE CONTEST. and will be with the Directorate General of Public Relations. Short Film Competition* The duration of the short film should be minimum 3 minutes to maximum 5 minutes.* Anyone above 18 years of age can participate in this competition.* The short film must be new. The short film should be specially prepared for this competition.* Care should be taken that no foul language, violence, offensive language is used.* Contestants participating in the competition must submit short films following the concepts and guidelines mentioned by the Government of Maharashtra.* Any copyright Care should be taken to avoid infringement.* Multiple entries are not allowed.* Standard video format MP4 HD 1920 * 1080 is expected. There should be independent YouTube format / X format.* Make sure that the short film is made in Marathi, Hindi, English.* Short film should be submitted in HD format.
