35 lakh gold seized without receipt in Ratnagiri
Ratnagiri / Mumbai: A total of 6,000 vehicles have been inspected and suspicious items have been seized through stationary and mobile survey teams deployed across the state to follow the model code of conduct. So far more than Rs 500 crore of illegal assets have been seized.

As there are no documents in this regard, it has been taken into custody by the SST team.
District Election Officer M Devender Singh has ordered all the SST and FST teams of the district to conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicles entering the district at various checkpoints. Accordingly, action is being taken by SST, FST teams in all the five assembly constituencies.
