33rd National Youth Kho-Kho Tournament organized by Kho-Kho Federation of India and organized by Karnataka Kho-Kho Association concluded at Kalpataru Stadium Tiptur, District Tumkur (Karnataka) Maharashtra once again made history. Maharashtra has won the double crown for the third year in a row. Two years ago at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Una, Himachal Pradesh, last year at Phaltan, Satara, Maharashtra and at Tiptur, Karnataka, they created a new history with a hat-trick of double crowns and Maharashtra won the double crown for the eighth time. This is the 12th championship for Maharashtra boys and 17th for girls. For the second year in a row, both teams from Maharashtra have proved their undisputed supremacy by defeating both teams from Karnataka. In the finals of the tournament, Maharashtra boys and girls won the championship with a double crown by defeating Karnataka. The youth group has won the title 12 times and the girl group has won the title 17 times so far. Both the Maharashtra captains won the highest award. Haradhya Vasavela Bharat and Maithili Pawar were felicitated with the Ea award.
