Ratnagiri, Dt. 21 : Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his belief that Loknete Shamrao Peje Government Engineering College will be a walking and talking monument to inspire the youth.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the Government Engineering College and the naming ceremony of People’s Leader Shamrao Peje Engineering College at Ratnagiri today.
Guardian Minister Uday Samant, MLA Shekhar Nikam, Ravindra Phatak, Collector M. Devender Singh, District Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kulkarni, Chief Executive Officer Kirti Kiran Pujar etc were present.
The Chief Minister said, the government is giving strength to the students to stand on their own feet with knowledge. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to make India a superpower in 2047. For that, it is necessary to acquire necessary knowledge and skills. The youth should strive to make his dream come true. Maharashtra has a good environment for industry. The required skill manpower is also standing in the state. Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Baheen Yojana is getting good response. Similarly, the Chief Minister’s Youth Training Scheme is also getting a huge response. If a graduate, ten thousand rupees is paid per month. This government is implementing various schemes for all the constituents. The state has signed an agreement with the German government to provide four lakh employment opportunities in twenty different sectors. This will provide employment to many youths. Plans have also been made to make drone technology work. This scheme is going to be implemented in 2000 colleges under Parispersash scheme. This government is a government that provides jobs.
In the conference held at Davos, investment agreements of Rs 1 lakh 37 thousand crore were signed in the first year and agreements of Rs 3 lakh 50 crore were signed in the second year. 5 lakh crores of rupees have been invested in our state. Industries are coming to the state on a large scale as favorable environment for industry and necessary facilities and concessions are being provided in the single window scheme. The youth here are also getting the employment skills required for that. An investment project of Rs 10,000 crore for manufacturing defense materials is coming up in Ratnagiri district. A few months ago, Coca Cola Company performed Bhoomi Pujan. The Chief Minister also said that a good environment has been created to speed up industrialization.
Guardian Minister Shri. Samant said, I am very happy that the dream of Ratnagiri becoming an educational hub that I saw two years ago is being realized today only because of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Two years ago, Bhoomi Puja was done and the building was completed. As a dynamic government, various works are coming up in the district. 500 Crores for Medical College and 250 Crores for Engineering College was immediately approved by the Chief Minister, making the dream of an educational hub a reality. Nirman Group put a lot of effort in constructing this building and a handsome building has been erected on the lines of IIT. Government Law College is also going to start from next year. It is a special pleasure that 319 children have got employment in the district under the Chief Minister’s Student Training Scheme. MLA Mr. Nikam also expressed concern.
