Ratnagiri District Superintendent of Police, Shri. Dhananjay Kulkarni had given instructions to carry out a special campaign in order to expose the crimes of burglary and theft that happened in Ratnagiri district in the near future. Nitin Dhere reviewed the cases of burglary and theft in Ratnagiri district and special teams of police officers and enforcers from the local crime investigation branch were formed for this purpose. On 20/08/2024 in Nate police station area at night in Nate-Bazarpeth the shutter of the shop “Zaid Mobile and Electronics” was lifted with some weapon, after opening the shutter and entering, a total of 49 mobile phones and sets, tabs and other materials were taken from the shop totaling 6,83, 700/- Rs. The subject matter of the price was that the goods were stolen. The owner of this shop Mr. Nasir Ibrahim Qazi, Res. Based on the complaint given by Jaitapur, a case was registered at Nate Police Station under Section 305(a), 331(3), 331(4) of the Indian Code of Justice, 2023. While the investigation is going on, on the basis of the confidential information as well as in the inquiry conducted with some contractors who are doing contract construction in Nate area, after understanding the reliable information that the accused in the said crime is in the state of Karnataka and in Mumbai, the police inspector of the local crime investigation branch Mr. Nitin Dhere immediately formed two teams and sent them to Karnataka State and Mumbai for investigation. While the investigation was going on in Karnataka State and Mumbai by these teams, an investigation team in Karnataka State (1) Karan Hajiappa Pujari, aged 26 years, Res. Bajnagar, Subanaik Tanda, Nalwar, T. Chitapur, Dist. Gulbarga, Res. Karnataka, (2) Rahul Reddy Chavan, Aged 24 Years, Res. Balaram Chowk, Talai Tanda, Dist. Chitapur, Dist. Gulbarga, Res. Karnataka was traced and detained at Gulbarga, Karnataka and the investigation team which went to Mumbai identified (3) Prem Sapan Karmakar, aged 22 years, Res. Motila Nagar, No. 1 Road, Goregaon West, Near Dutt Mandira, Room no. 504, Mumbai and arrested him and on the basis of further information received from the said arrested accused (4) Sabanna Bhimrai Kobala, aged 24 years, Res. Nalwar, Chitapur, Dist. Gulbarga, Res. Karnataka has been taken into custody from Nate police station limits. 4,13,177/- out of the items stolen from all the said four accused in the crime, a total of Rs. 33 mobile handsets, 1 tablet worth Rs.
