Lanja Rural Hospital shifted to Cultural Bhawan building

Lanja: The operations of Lanja Rural Hospital have now been shifted to this building in the evening of Thursday 22 August. Outpatient and inpatient departments have been started in this building.

As fire audit and electrical safety audit of the shifted building was not carried out even after one year the construction work of the new building had not started. With ‘Ratnagiri Live’ The operations in the old building have been shifted from today following the fire audit report after the lighting. The demolition of the old building will now begin.
Guardian Minister Uday Samant had ordered to start the work on the new building on July 31. A year has passed since the ‘deadline’ of July 31 was the tender process for the new building costing around Rs 12 crore. As the Lanja Rural Hospital operations in the old building will now be shifted to the building of the Cultural Bhavan, there are orders to conduct a ‘Fire Safety Audit’ of the Cultural Bhavan itself, as well as an ‘Electrical Safety Audit’ of the medical electrical equipment in the hospital. Such a proposal has been given by the Public Works Department of Lanja to the Fire Authority and the Mahadistribution. But the fire audit report was not received.
