Activities of Achra College : Organized by National Service Scheme Department

Achra: On behalf of the National Service Scheme Department of Achra College of Management Studies and Commerce under the University of Mumbai, the 'Youth Passion: Village-City Development' camp started at Wayangani Deulwadi (Malvan) from Tuesday 9th January. This camp will end on January 15.

Wayangani Sarpanch Rupesh Patkar is inaugurating in the evening on 9th. Achra College President Sanjay Mirashi will preside. Achra College Treasurer Vidyanand Parab, Member J. M. Fernandes, Achra High School Principal Gopal Parab, English Medium Principal M. S. Fernandes, College Principal G. T. Dalvi and other dignitaries will be present.

The objectives of this camp are to enlighten and guide the youth, give opportunities for leadership qualities, tell the importance of health through labor culture, create a sense of social responsibility, create awareness about water conservation and environment, discuss the problems and solutions of rural life, spread child welfare, health etc. .

Village sanitation and road repair, water management and water conservation, youth parent guidance, disaster management, cultural heritage and neglected tourism etc. projects will be done through the camp. On 10th on the topic of youth health, Dr. Prof. Swara Bhogte, on 11th on elimination of superstitions and scientific approach. Vijay Chowkekar, Principal G. on the challenges faced by the youth on 12 T. College coordinator Vishal Gurav will give guidance on the importance of youth in national service on Dalvi, 13 and Wasim Syed will guide on skill development through national service scheme on 14th.
