* Sawantwadi, Day-12:-* There is a tradition of offering Owsa after the Puja of Gaurai. Mrs. Archana Ghare-Parab, Konkan Division Women President of NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar Party, participated in the Owsa program at Insuli Kothavlebandh on the fifth day. Suvasini offered ovas to each other. Nationalist Congress Sharad Chandra Pawar Party’s Konkan Division Women President Archana Ghare-Parab went house to house in Sawantwadi Constituency and took Ganesh darshan. On the fifth day, after the arrival of Gaurai, he attended the ceremony of offering suvasinis. He participated in this function along with the women of Insuli Kothavlebandh. The Ganesha of Tevis families is specially installed here, two Ganeshas of the same color are installed. Mrs. Archana Ghare-Parab took darshan of this Ganaraya. Even today, while the era is shifting towards the nuclear family system, the joint family system is intact in Konkan. Festivals and ceremonies are celebrated in harmony. It is commendable that Gokul Nandaat is celebrated in every household. It is special that the next generation is also taking care of it. Asserting that as a daughter of Konkan, we are proud that our brothers and sisters are still preserving the customs and traditions laid down by our forefathers. Archana was performed by Ghare-Parab.
Kothawale family was present on this occasion. He also took darshan of the common Ganesha of forty families in Aajgaon Pandehwadi. Vishnu Pandey, Vinod Pandey, Nana Govekar, Omkar Govekar, Dada Govekar etc were present on this occasion.
