Railway traffic was disrupted for more than two hours on Monday morning due to the breakdown of a track maintenance engine on the route between Sawarde and Aravli of Konkan Railway. The Mumbai CSMT to Madgaon Vande Bharat Express and the Janshatabdi Express running towards Goa were also affected due to the breakdown of the track maintenance engine. The incident took place around 8:30 am on Monday. Vande Bharat Express along with Janshatabdi Express and Kochuveli-LTT Garib Rath Express running towards Mumbai were stopped. Disrupted train services were restored after the derailed maintenance engine was removed at 10:24 am.
