Ratnagiri : The Superfast Express running from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai to Mangalore Junction in Karnataka will also get new LHB coaches. From March 1, 2025, daily trains running through Konkan Railway will run with new LHB rakes instead of conventional rakes.

Railways has said that LHB coaches will also be added to the Nagercoil to Gandhidham Express running through Konkan Railway a few days ago.

Mumbai-Mangaluru Superfast Express Current and Revised Coach Design

In this regard, according to the information given by Konkan Railway, the daily superfast train number 12133/12134 between Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Mangaluru with old rake will run from Mumbai to Mangaluru from 1st March 2025 and from 2nd March 2025 on Mangaluru to Mumbai CSMT route. .

At present the train running with conventional rake is 17 coaches. But as the seating capacity is increasing in the new LHB style coach design, this train will run with 16 coaches.
