Konkan Railway | Margaon to Bandra Twice Weekly Train Coming Soon?

A few days ago, ‘Ratnagiri Live’ had reported that a new train would be started on the Konkan railway line from the western suburbs of Mumbai, this news has now been confirmed by the proposal sent to the Railway Board.This.

Ratnagiri : A new train running twice a week from Madgaon to Bandra Terminus will soon enter the service of Konkanians. The proposal for this permanent train has been sent to the Railway Board for approval on August 21.

  • As per the proposal sent to the Railway Board, this train will run on Tuesday and Thursday from Margaon to Bandra Terminus.
  • Bandra Terminus to Margaon route train will run on Wednesday and Friday.

This twice weekly train will depart from Madgaon at 7:40 AM and reach Bandra Terminus of Western Railway at 11:40 PM. The train will depart from Bandra Terminus at 6:50 AM and reach Madgaon in Goa at 10:00 PM. It has been sent to the Railway Board for approval.

Long time demand of Konkanians will be fulfilled!

Considering the inconvenience to the Konkan residents due to the lack of a permanent train coming to Konkan from Mumbai on the Western Railway line, preliminary information has been made available that at present a train running twice a week will be run. After departure from Bandra Terminus, this train will proceed to Margaon via Vasai Road, Bhiwandi Road Panvel, Roha, Margaon. The train stops will be announced after the proposal is approved by the Railway Board. Railways have planned to run this LHP type train of twenty nine coaches.
