The revenue department maintained the good tradition of holding sports competitions – Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil
Ratnagiri, Dt. 13: Honorable Revenue, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil concluded that the revenue department has maintained a good tradition of organizing regional sports competitions.
Inaugurating the Konkan Divisional Revenue Sports and Cultural Competition 2023-24 by lighting the sports flame and releasing colorful balloons, Revenue Minister Shri. It was done by Vikhe-Patil. Industries Minister and Guardian Minister Uday Samant was present as the President of the inauguration ceremony. MP Vinayak Raut, MLA Bhaskar Jadhav, Revenue Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajgopal Deora, Commissioner of Income Tax Department Dr. Madhavi RM, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Mahendra Kalyankar, Mumbai Suburban Collector Rajendra Bhosale, Mumbai City Collector Rajendra Kshirsagar, Sindhudurg Collector Kishore Tawde, Ratnagiri Police. Superintendent Dhananjay Kulkarni, Chief Executive Officer Kirti Kiran Pujar and others were present.
Revenue Minister Shri. Vikhe-Patil said, Ratnagiri district, which got the host post, has organized very well. Congratulations to the collector and his team! Through such competitions the officers and employees of the department will get to know each other. He wished them all the best for this three-day competition, saying that their talents will get scope.
Guardian Minister Shri. Samant said, as the Guardian Minister, I welcome all those who came to this district for the purpose of the competition. The purpose of revenue is to take Maharashtra forward in terms of development. The revenue and police departments have unique importance in the government. That importance should be maintained. Best wishes on this occasion.
MLA Mr. Jadhav said that the revenue department has strengthened the system of the country and wished Ratnagiri district to get the first rank honor.
Divisional Commissioner Dr. Kalyankar said, the revenue department is doing different types of work throughout the year. On the occasion of these competitions, we will get new spirit from this district and do good work in our respective districts. I will work diligently to give scope to the marks. That is the purpose of these sports events. Make it successful.
Collector M Devender Singh welcomed everyone and gave detailed information about the sports competition in the introduction.
Students of Zilla Parishad schools who qualified for NASA and ISRO were felicitated with gifts on this occasion. At the beginning of the program, flowers were offered to Shiva Pratimes. On this occasion, the players conducted a procession and gave a salute. After this, provincial officer Ajit Thorbole administered the oath to the players.
