A marathon competition of 5, 10 and 21 kilometers will be organized by Suvarnasurya Foundation on January 7. Half marathon competition will be held under the approval of Athletics Association. In this, women and men have been grouped according to age group. The competition will be held on Malnaka, Maruti Mandir, Nachne Road, Kajarghati, Someshwar, Kolombe, Phansop, Bhatye. So far more than 800 contestants have participated for the competition and now many contestants from Ratnagiri district have also started registering for the competition.
