Village: The Chiplun court granted bail of 25 thousand to Revenue Assistant Champlal Mahajan Dedhawal in the case of accepting a bribe of 3 thousand to settle the ongoing criminal complaint in the Tehsil office. He is expected to appear in court on Monday and Thursday.
The revenue assistant had demanded Rs 3,000 from the 52-year-old complainant to settle the criminal complaint. In this case, the complainant filed a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Department. After his arrest, the court remanded him to one-day police custody
