City : Leader News Service : Out of 585 kharif season villages in the district, 549 villages have the final cash value of crops less than 50, while 36 villages have more than 50 cash value. Kharif crop yield in 668 Rabi villages also fell below 50. The state government has already declared a drought-like situation in 96 revenue mandals of the district. The final Payeswari report has sealed the government's decision. In total, the final income of 1 thousand 217 villages in the district is less than 50 paise. There are a total of 1 thousand 606 revenue villages in the district, out of which 585 villages have been earmarked for Kharif season, while the remaining 1 thousand 21 villages have been earmarked for Rabi season.
All the villages in both Sangamner and Akole taluks are included in Kharif season. Apart from this, 16 villages of Kopargaon taluka, 24 of Rahata taluka, 17 of Rahuri taluka, Nagar 5, Nevasa 13, all 80 villages of Pathardi taluka, Shevgaon 34 and 31 villages of Parner taluka are also included in Kharif season. Collector Siddharam Salimath has announced the final distribution of kharif crops on December 15. As many as 549 villages out of 585 villages have less than 50 paisevari. Therefore, it has come out that kharif crops in 93 percent of the villages in the kharif season were wasted due to lack of rain. It has been proved that kharif crops are good in 36 villages including 31 in Parner taluka and five in Nagar taluka.
Drought-like conditions are declared in villages with less than 50 paisewari. Various concessions are being provided to these villages. However, the state government has declared a drought-like situation in all 96 revenue mandals except Kordgaon in Pathardi taluka on November 10, 2023 itself. The final Payeswari report has sealed this drought-like situation.
36 villages with more money order
Five villages namely Khospuri, Pangarmal, Majle Chincholi, Awhadwadi and Udarmal in Nagar taluka and Garkhindi, Padali Ale, Kalas, Darodi, Palashi, Mandve Khurd, Deswade, Khadakwadi, Vadgaon Savatal, Gajdipur, Vankute, Tas, Pokhari, Waranwadi, Takli in Parner taluka. Dhokeshwar, Vasunde, Karjule Harya, Kasare, Savargaon, Katalvedha, Mhsobazap, Nandoorpathar, Dongarwadi, Palaspur, Dhotre Budruk, Dhok, Karegaon, Tikhol, Dhavalpuri, Bhangdevadi are included in 31 villages.
Less money in 668 villages in Rabi
If 2/3rd or more area of rabi villages has been sown with kharif crops then the final assessment of kharif seasonal crops of rabi villages is taken. Accordingly, out of 1 thousand 21 Rabbi villages, 668 villages have less than 50 paisewari. This includes 114, Rahuri 79, Karjat 118, Jamkhed 87, Pathardi 57, Shevgaon 79, Kopargaon 63 villages in Nevasa taluka. However, 353 Rabbi villages in the district have more than 50 paisewari. This includes 116 villages in Nagar taluka, 100 in Parner taluka, 115 in Srigonda taluka and 22 in Srirampur taluka.
