- BJP leader former MP Nilesh Rane’s efforts got success
Ratnagiri : In 15 districts such as Ratnagiri, Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, the Security Guard Board, which is responsible for the security of various entire government establishments, city councils, and municipalities, has finally won the battle of khaki. Mandal security guards are now allowed to wear khaki uniforms. Until now these security guards were wearing blue uniforms. This demand of the organization was accepted with the cooperation of BJP leader Nilesh Rane.
- The demand was made by the Union of Indian Security Guards and Labor Workers. Union president Harendra Vijay Chavan and members met former MP Nilesh Rane for this. In this regard, Nilesh Rane had immediately written a correspondence to Maharashtra State Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis. In this background, Labor Minister Dr. Suresh Khade has given this approval in a meeting with union representatives, Ashwini Sonwane, Prathamesh Bhai etc.
- For the last nine years, these security guards have been fighting to change the color of their uniforms. Security is provided by the Security Guard Board to the municipal councils of the state along with various other institutions such as government hospitals, schools, colleges, colleges etc. The security guard of this board is on duty in 15 districts of the state. Also, part of the security of the temple of Mahalakshmi in Kolhapur is also on the shoulders of these security guards. But since the uniform was blue in color, they did not make the right impression on the people. The uniforms of many of the security agencies that came from behind the board were given a paramilitary color. Therefore, security guards across the state were demanding that the original color of their Ganesha should be changed to khaki for nine years. This demand has finally been accepted.
- For this, the president and office bearers of the organization thanked former Union Minister Ratnagiri Sindhudurg MP Narayanarao Rane but thanked BJP leader Nilesh Rane who actively supported the demand and corresponded with Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis from time to time.
