Karneshwar Sangeet Art Festival from 22 in Sangameshwar in association with ancient Karneshwar Devasthan

Karneshwar Sangeet Kala Mahotsav has been organized from 22nd to 24th December in association with the ancient Karneshwar Devasthan of Kalangan Sangameshwar, which has made its own mark in the cultural field of Sangameshwar taluk.
Kalangan President Amol Lodh and Karneshwar Devasthan Trustee Nishan Kanitkar while giving information in this regard said that the festival was started last year with the aim of making the Chalukya-era Sri Karneshwar Temple at Sangmeswar-Kasba a center of art and not just limited to darshan and tourism. The festival, which includes all the three art forms of singing, playing and dancing, will be inaugurated on Friday, December 22, with a Kathak dance by Nritya Shiromani Shilpa Bhide-Mungale and colleagues. Ashutosh Bapat, a scholar of mythological background, will also publish this book on Shilpakatha Karneshwara.
