Israeli airstrike in Southern Lebanon kills three

Three people were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in the village of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon early on Wednesday, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.
Israeli artillery has continued its bombardment nonstop since Tuesday night, targeting the villages of Al-Adisa, Kafr Kila, Deir Mimas, Al-Aziya, Tal Al-Nahas, Burj al-Moulouk, and Khiam with hundreds of shells.
Israeli warplanes have launched a series of airstrikes on the city of Nabatieh, while the towns of Mayfadoun and Ansar were hit by two airstrikes, with no reported casualties.

Lebanon is facing extensive Israeli assaults targeting border villages and infrastructure, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of thousands of Lebanese. Additionally, hundreds of thousands of residents in the targeted areas have been forced to flee, as Israel has escalated its aerial and artillery attacks across various Lebanese regions, coinciding with its ongoing genocide against the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023.
