TEHRAN — Israel announced early Saturday that its military has executed “precise strikes” against military targets in Iran, with explosions reportedly heard in Tehran.
“Right now, the Israel Defense Forces is conducting precise strikes on military targets in Iran,” stated Israeli army spokesman Rear Adm. Danial Hagari.
According to Israeli army radio, numerous Israeli aircraft were engaged in attacks on various locations, including Tehran, Mashhad, and a power station in Karaj.
In parallel, the Iranian semi-official Fars News Agency reported hearing explosions in the Iranian capital, while the Syrian news agency Sana confirmed similar reports of explosions in Damascus. — Agencies
