IOF arrests 36 Palestinian civilians in West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested at least 36 Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank during the past 24 hours, including four students in Al-Khalil and several freed captives.

In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) indicated that most of the arrests took place in Al-Khalil, and that the number of detainees since the Israeli occupation’s aggression committed yesterday on the governorates of the northern West Bank has reached 110 detainees.

The IOF has arrested more than 10,400 Palestinian civilians across the governorates of the West Bank (including Al-Quds), since the beginning of the Israeli occupation’s ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Gaza Strip.

The IOF continues to implement systematic arrests, as one of its most prominent established policies, which escalated in an unprecedented manner after October 2023, not only in terms of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes committed
