IOF arrests 25 Palestinians in West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have arrested at least 25 Palestinian civilians today morning, within an operation that started last night, including freed captives.

In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) indicated that, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the northern governorates of the West Bank yesterday, the IOF arrested at least 45 Palestinian civilians. This data includes the cases that have been confirmed with the continuation of raid operations in various parts of the West Bank, the statement added.

These arrest sprees are one of the most prominent and systematic policies used by the IOF as a tool of its collective punishment policy, which is the same tool that the Israeli occupation is using in targeting Palestinian civilians, in light of the ongoing genocide that Israel is committing against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The IOF has arrested more than 10,300 Palestinian civilians across the governorates of the West Bank (including Al-Quds), since the beginning of the Israeli occupation’s ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Gaza Strip
