Inspection of Shivdi-Nhavasheva Atal Bridge by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde

Mumbai, June 6 : The objective of rapid progress will be achieved with the project 'Atal Bihari Vajpayee Shivdi-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu' (Mumbai Parbandar Project) on the longest 22 km sea route in the country. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that since the distance of two hours from Mumbai to Navi Mumbai will be covered in just 20 minutes, Mumbaikars will also get a big relief due to this fast transport.

The Mumbai Trans Harbor Link (MTHL) 'Atal Bihari Vajpayee Shivdi-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu' (Mumbai Parbandar Project) is being inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 12. Shinde reviewed this Atal Setu by stopping at various places today. On this occasion, Skill Development Industry and Innovation Minister and Guardian Minister of Mumbai Suburbs Mangal Prabhat Lodha, MLA Prashant Thakur, MLA Mahesh Baldi, Commissioner and Administrator of Mumbai Municipality I.S. Chahal, Commissioner of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, Additional Commissioner Dr. Sudhakar Shinde, Dr. Ashwini Joshi, Raigad Collector Yogesh Mhse, Navi Mumbai Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Rajesh Narvekar and other senior officials were present.

Chief Minister Mr. Shinde said that Atal Setu connects Navi Mumbai, Raigad and other cities, so large-scale development projects and large industrial groups will come in these areas. This area will also be developed. This route starts from Shivdi and connects to other routes by sea at Nhava Shewa in Chirle. The problem of traffic jam in Mumbai will end and it will be possible to go from Mumbai to Navi Mumbai in just 20 minutes. The work of the project has been completed by maintaining the balance of the environment and due to the balance flamingo birds have increased in the Shivdi sea area. As this setu road is connected to Mumbai-Goa highway, Vasai-Virar, Navi Mumbai, Raigad district, various big industries and development projects will come in Navi Mumbai area on a large scale and the area will also develop. 500 Skill Development Centers have been started for the employment of the youth and important decisions have been taken by the government for the benefit of the people, more developmental decisions are being taken.

Area beautification, tree plantation suggestions
Chief Minister Mr. While inspecting the Atal Setu Bridge from Shivdi to Chirle, Shinde got down at various places and informed about the facilities there and accordingly gave various instructions to the MMRDA officials. Besides maintaining the regular cleanliness of Atal Setu, the Chief Minister gave instructions for beautifying the area and planting trees.

After inspecting the Atal Setu, he interacted with the sanitation workers at Chirle. The project in this area will be directly inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
