Industrial area will be set up in Ril, Undi village

. Sub-divisional authorities have recently issued a notification for setting up industrial zones in Ril and Undi villages of Ratnagiri taluk. In this, 153 hectares of land is being acquired by Rail and 60 hectares of land is being acquired in Undi village. The area to be acquired will be paid four times the government rate. In this regard, when inquired at the Sub-Divisional Officer’s office, Ratnagiri, it was said that 153 hectares of land on 136 Satbara of Ril village is going to be acquired. In Undi village, 60 hectares of land on 49 satbara areas will be acquired. A total of 213 hectares of land will be acquired. All these land owners will get compensation equal to four times the government value. The Maharashtra Industrial Development Board has informed the Revenue Department that the compensation should be calculated as per the provisions mentioned under Section 26 to 30 of the Land Acquisition Act, 2013.
