The detailed information in this regard is that the state government has canceled the income condition which is important for the education fee and examination fee reimbursement scheme for the students of freed castes, nomadic castes, other backward classes and special backward classes enrolled in selected professional courses. Instead, the state government has made the non-crimelayer certificate mandatory. Earlier, the annual income limit for OBC, VJNT and SBC students was eight lakh rupees for tuition fee and examination reimbursement scheme. Therefore, children of parents whose income is more than 8 lakh rupees were not getting the benefit of this scheme. They had to pay full tuition fee and examination fee. That is why there was a demand to abolish the income condition, instead of accepting the non-criminal certificate. Accordingly, now this important decision has been taken. According to the circular issued by the Bahujan Welfare Department, the non-criminal certificate has been made mandatory by canceling the income limit of Rs 8 lakh for OBCs. The tuition fee as well as examination fee reimbursement scheme will apply to students who have non-crimelayer certificate. OBC, VJNT and SBC parents whose income is more than eight lakh rupees; But those students who have non-crimelayer certificate will get 50 percent and female students will get 100 percent tuition fee and examination fee reimbursement scheme.
