Mumbai, 13th: Vice President of the country Jagdeep Dhankhad will inaugurate the Constitution Temple on the occasion of World Democracy Day in 434 ITIs of the state on September 15. Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch ‘Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center’ and Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Startup Yojana in 1000 colleges of the state on September 20.

The inauguration ceremony of the Constitution Temples will be held at Elphinstone Technical College on Sunday 15 September 2024 at 11 am in the presence of Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Minister of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Mangalprabhat Lodha. Skill Development Center and Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Startup Yojana were inaugurated by Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar. , Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil, Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha will be present.*Constitution Mandir*
A constitution temple will be established in ITIs in the state. Through this temple, the teachings of the Constitution and the ideas of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar will also be spread on a regular basis. Various educational programs, seminars, commemoration of constitutional events and various events on days of historical importance will be organized at this place.
Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Centre
PlanVocational education has been given importance in the new National Education Policy, 2020. An innovative scheme “Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center” has been launched under the implementation of this policy. Skill development training centers will be established in 1000 reputed colleges. For this scheme, about 150 youths will be given free skill development training every year in each skill development center in 2500 colleges. Due to this, about 1 lakh 50 thousand youth in the age group of 15 to 45 will get free skill development training in the entire state. The training given to the students is completely free and all the expenses for this scheme will be borne by the skill development department. In this scheme, the objective of the scheme is to make the women startups in the state self-reliant and self-sufficient, to create the identity of Maharashtra as the state with the highest number of women startups in the country. 100 crore funds have been allocated for this scheme, and financial assistance of up to 25 lakhs will be given to about 1000 startups. Speaking at the press conference, Minister Lodha said, “Many skilled and righteous personalities have contributed to build India. Today, we have been able to make so much progress due to their hard work. Our effort is to make the coming generation understand the history of constitution making, its importance, through the constitution temple. The time ahead is one of youth power, of golden opportunities for the youth of India. So I consider it our responsibility to make these youths skillful and righteous. Such a youth has the power to lead not only India but also the world to a bright future. This is our aim for setting up skill development centers in constitution temples and colleges.
