Former Mayor Baban Salgaonkar demanded that a case should be registered against him for causing accidents and deaths of people. Former mayor Baban Salgaonkar along with former corporators met police inspector Rishikesh Adhikari today and gave a statement in this regard. Due to the negligence of the authorities, these roads are becoming of poor quality. There is collusion between officials and contractors for corruption. The former corporators along with the former mayor Baban Salgaonkar demanded that these officials should be investigated about their property and also cases should be registered. Mr. Salgaonkar today stormed the Sawantwadi police station along with former corporators and demanded that a case be filed against the engineer concerned. There is more information about this that when the road work was started in Amboli Ghat, the attention of the engineer was needed. But due to the neglect of that engineer, the work has become of poor quality. Also, there is a large amount of vehicular traffic in this ghat, so the engineer needed to pay attention while the road work was going on. But due to this not happening, today the motorists are having to bear a lot of trouble. Every year this road gets damaged. These officials are daring to corrupt the same road where School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, Guardian Minister Ravindra Chavan travel. Therefore, he demanded that a case should be filed against the related engineering immediately. Mr. Salgaonkar has also warned that if the crime is not filed, he will go to court. Meanwhile, police inspector Rishikesh Adhikari assured the former mayor that he would write a letter to the construction department and take the process of filing a case. At this time, Mr. Salgaonkar said that Mr. Officers were felicitated.
