Panvel – The state government provides Rs 1500 per month to eligible women in Maharashtra through the Chief Minister’s Ladki Bahin Yojana. Crores of women in the state have benefited from this scheme. There has been a situation where 30 different applications in the name of the same woman, using different Aadhaar cards and the amount received using the same mobile number have been diverted. A person from Satara filed 30 applications in the name of his wife and registered a single mobile number. In this case, 26 applications have been deposited in the account of the cooperative bank. It has also been revealed that the concerned person in this case has taken a photo of the same wife in different clothes and shown that there are 27 women, in this case a complaint has been filed in the Panvel Tehsildar office It has been pointed out that the application of Pooja Mahamuni, a resident of Kharghar, was filed from another mobile number. Mahamuni asked Nilesh Baviskar, a former BJP corporator in Panvel, for help in filing the application on August 28. On August 29, when Mahamuni tried to log in by registering his mobile number, he was shown the information that the application for Ladki Bahin Yojana had been filed and approved. Said to be from Satara. The concerned person was asked by Nilesh Baviskar to share the OTP, the person also gave it. When Nilesh Baviskar inquired with the help of social activist Kanchan Birla, it came to light that the accounts of 30 beneficiary women were linked to a single mobile number. Out of those 27 beneficiaries had the same name but different Aadhaar card numbers. Out of these 26 applications have been approved and four applications have not been approved. Because of this, Mahamuni, Birla and Baviskar complained to the Panvel Tehsildar. It has come to light that the concerned person has also changed the password. *Complaint to Panvel Tehsildar* As the application form of Mahamuni of Kharghar was not submitted even after repeated filling, he complained to former BJP corporator Nilesh Baviskar. After this, when Nilesh Baviskar searched, it came to light that Puja Mahamuni’s application has already been approved. However, the mobile number of a person named Jadhav from Satara was added to his Aadhaar card. On getting more information about this, it was found that this person had filled not one but as many as 30 applications in the name of his wife. After this, a complaint has been made to the Panvel Tehsildar and an investigation has been started.
