Shiv Sena’s Sadanand Chavan was defeated in the 2019 assembly elections. But this time, the dream of former MLA and deputy leader Sadanand Chavan, who was aspiring from Shiv Sena, was shattered as this assembly constituency fell to the NCP in the grand alliance.
