Dodamarg, D – 27:- In Dodamarg taluka, Eco Sensitive Zone has been set up unnecessarily and incorrectly. 12 villages in Dodamarg taluka with a total of 36 villages fall under Eco Sensitive Zone. But since ecosensitive zone has been set up in almost all talukas, it has affected the development of entire Dodamarg taluka. It has become impossible for the farmers and horticulturists of Dodamarg taluk to carry on their daily life. After the farmers appealed against this, according to the order of the High Court, the central and state governments have sent a proposal to the state government to include only fourteen villages in Dodamarg taluka in the eco-sensitive zone. Taking immediate notice of this, the ban imposed in other villages except the 12 villages included in the eco-sensitive zone should be lifted, otherwise the farmers, horticulturists, businessmen, project victims and all other business people of Dodamarg taluka will have no choice but to commit suicide one after the other. The office-bearers of the Farmers Association presented the BJP Yuva Morcha to the State Vice President Mr. Vishal Parab.
In the meeting held on this occasion, Mr. Vishal Parab conducted a group discussion and interacted with everyone and guided the farmers regarding the professional and personal difficulties faced by them. Mr. Vishal Parab opined that after canceling the wrongly imposed eco-sensitive zone, all the remaining villages will be able to bring many small and big infrastructural projects for employment generation, and Jamba stone, gravel and sand mining permission will be obtained in a phased manner and employment will be created.
He said that he will try to lift the unnecessary ban in this village immediately as per the direction of the High Court so that the necessary process can be started for employment generation and all the industries including tourism can get scope. If there is time to solve the problems faced by the government court, we will definitely discuss with District Guardian Minister Hon’ble Ravindra Chavan Saheb and MP Narayan Rane Saheb. Vishal Parab gave this time. He also expressed the hope that soon this wrong eco-sensitive zone will be raised and all of us who have been deprived of development will clear the backlog of development and jump towards development again.
Mr. Vishal Parab along with Adv Anil Nirwadekar, former BJP taluk president of Dodamarg Mr. Ranganath Gavas, President of Wood Traders Farmers Association Mr. Pritam Pokle, Secretary Mr. Rishikesh Dharne, Mr. Vaibhav Sutar, Police Patil Mr. Tukaram Desai, Retired Teacher Mr. Desai Sir , all the office bearers and workers of the Timber Traders Farmers Association were present.
