Mumbai : Recently, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Lakshadweep, three Maldivian ministers made offensive statements against Prime Minister Modi on social media. The statement drew a strong response in India and Boycott Maldives is also trending on social media.

Now NCP chief Sharad Pawar has expressed his displeasure over this matter.

Sharad Pawar said that 'Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of our country. If someone from other country speaks against the Prime Minister of our country, we will not tolerate it. No matter how many differences there are with him in our country, people of other countries cannot talk about our Prime Minister,' said Sharad Pawar.

Will not contest election
For some time Ajit Pawar was constantly taunting Sharad Pawar about his age. At this time, Pawar made a big statement about MP. “My term of office is ending after two and a half years, I will not contest the election after the end of the current term of office. Will continue to work until then. People sent me there, why not work there? I have been in politics since 1967. Even my opponents have never criticized me on the basis of age. He is the lifetime president of many organizations. Sharad Pawar has said that I will continue to work there.

Rama is a subject of faith
Meanwhile, while reacting to the grand ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya and Jitendra Awad's statement, Sharad Pawar said, 'Ram is a matter of faith. No statement has been made by the parties regarding Ram. Jitendra Awad's statement is not a party statement. It is not right that the guardian minister of Mumbai is forcing schools to have a competition about Ram. It is a secular country. Sharad Pawar clarified that he will not go to see Rama in crowds, he will go after the term of Rajya Sabha is over.
