*Sawantwadi, D-28:-* The security guards in the government hospital in the district are facing starvation due to the unpaid salaries of the security guards for five months. Salary for five months from April to August has not been received from the hospital administration. So the time has come for 80 security guards in the hospital to go on hunger strike. Some are driving the family cart with usanwar. Some have taken loans from banks to survive. They cannot repay the installments of the loan and the amount borrowed. It will be a big help to celebrate Ganeshotsav if all the outstanding honorariums are received in time. It is being demanded that the health department should deposit the outstanding salary of 80 security guards of the government hospital for five months before Ganeshotsav. For this, even after the Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg Security Division, justice is not given. Because of this there is displeasure among the security guards. 5 Guardian Minister Ravindra Chavan, School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, MP Narayan Rane, MLA Nitesh Rane should follow up and give justice. He has been working as a security guard in the Government Hospital for the last 13 years under the Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg Security Board. His three-year term ends in March. Health Department has not received administrative approval for extension. The proposal is currently awaiting approval at the administrative ministry level. There is constant follow-up by the Security Council. For this, if Health Minister Tanaji Sawant removes this problem and gives administrative approval to the proposal for extended term in two days, the issue of remuneration can be solved. All MLAs, Ministers and MPs of the district should try for this. The security guards will get relief if they get the five months’ arrears.
