Health check-up for ‘ST’ employees who have crossed 40!

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (ST) has implemented Dharmaveer Anand Dighe health check up scheme for employees above 40 years. These employees will be required to undergo 11 types of inspections once in every two financial years, and the corporation will also bear the cost. Employees above 40 years of age are required to undergo health check-up including CBC, Thyroid, Blood Sugar HBAIC, Cholesterol, Liver Function, Kidney Function, Bone Density, X-Ray-ECG, CRP Test, Eye Test, Mammography (for women only). Valid from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2024. However, it has come to light that majority of the employees have not done this inspection. Therefore, the corporation has issued a letter regarding the inspection. The corporation has a total of around 86 thousand employees. About 60 percent of the employees are above 40 years of age. All of them have to undergo this inspection once in two financial years. It has also been clarified that the corporation will not reimburse this amount if none of the above checks are done.
