Mumbai: On the occasion of Ganeshotsav, popular senior playback singer Padmashri Dr. Anuradha Paudwal made offerings at the feet of Shri Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, a place of worship for crores of devotees, on Tuesday morning. Kavita Paudwal, daughter of Anuradha Paudwal, President of Sri Siddhivinayak Mandir Trust Sadanand Saravankar, London-based businessman Dilip Apte, producer of the audiotape, were present on the occasion. Siddhivinayak witnessed the launch of the soundtrack of this traditional, melodious and distinctive devotional composition in a very auspicious atmosphere.

Ganesh Pancharatna is a great sloka poem in praise of Lord Ganesha. A few months ago, famous singer Padmashri Dr. Anuradha Paudwal sang this pancharatna stuti kavya of Adi Shankaracharya’s Vighnaharta at the House of Commons in London. It can now be heard by ordinary devotees through audio tape. At this year’s Ganeshotsav, music lovers and Shri Ganesha devotees will have the good fortune to listen to Pancharatna Shlok Kavya in the voice of Anuradha Paudwal.

‘Ganesh Pancharatna’ slokakavya was aired in the premises of Sri Siddhivinayak temple on Tuesday. This added to the happy and auspicious atmosphere there. Thousands of devotees coming to the temple for darshan were listening to these verses with rapt attention.
