Primary health center of Zilla Parishad will be upgraded to enable rural health system and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has given instructions in this regard to the officials. It will benefit 67 primary health centers in Ratnagiri district and will help them to have quality facilities.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde came to Ratnagiri on Thursday to unveil and dedicate the Government Medical School Konashila. At that time, he has given many instructions to the district administration regarding the health department of the district. Steps have been taken by the government to provide health facilities to the common people. He said that specialty hospitals with all facilities are being set up in the district to strengthen the health system.
The first treatment is given to the people in the rural areas in the primary health center. If this initial treatment is of good quality, these patients may not need to proceed further. After Sangli in the state, the District Collector has started the work of upgrading the primary health center in Satara district. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde suggested that Ratnagiri District Collector should also undertake this work.
