From the hustle and bustle of Mumbai city, find some peace at Bandra Talao.

Locally known as Swami Vivekananda Talao or Motha Sarovar. The 200 year old lake was built by Konkani Muslim community. The side facing the S.V road has the entrance with palm trees planted and provision made for seating. You will also see people fishing in the lake, however, I did not see anyone actually catching a fish.

How to reach:- Get off at Bandra railway station and take the flyover and come to the west. From here, it’s walking distance.

One can even hire an auto-rickshaw or cab that will charge a minimum fare.
