Four vehicles such as an ST bus, a container, a car and a two-wheeler collided with each other at Parshuram ghat of Chiplun on the Mumbai-Goa highway. The accident was so severe that the front side of the ST was smashed. Preliminary information is being received that the passengers of the two-wheeler and the ST bus have been injured due to this accident. The injured in this accident have now been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. After this accident, one-way traffic is continuing on the highway. It is reported that the accident took place at six o’clock in the morning due to thick fog. The ST has been literally shattered in this collision. Also the ST and four people on the bike were seriously injured. After the accident, the highway police have reached the spot. One-way traffic has been resumed on the Parashuram Ghat route after the accident. Also, the highway police has informed that the accident happened due to thick fog.
