Former sarpanch of Lanja Suresh Waghdhare passed away

Lanja: Former sarpanch of Lanja village, social activist, veteran artist Suresh Pandurang Waghdhare alias Baban Dada passed away at 11.30 am on Sunday at the age of 85.

Dada Waghdhare was very involved in the development process of Lanja village. Served in political parties at a large position during the Sarpanch period many development works were initiated. He was the sarpanch of Lanja village for many years and as an ideal sarpanch he had a great performance in Lanja city. He was famous as a good administrator. He had a hotel business in Lanja city. He had performed his art as an artist in many theatrical experiments at the theater in Lanja village. Dada’s nature was straightforward. Due to his tragic death, there is a feeling of loss of old people in Lanja village and city.

Shivaji Kotre, a famous businessman and former Gram Panchayat member of Lanja, said that Dada Waghdhare was a good administrator. We had the opportunity to work in his career. He was very fond of social work. He is survived by one brother, wife, three sons, three daughters and grandchildren.
