Ratnagiri, 15th:- The Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kulkarni appealed to the fishermen, boat owners to exercise their right to vote on November 20.
266 A boat rally was organized in Ratnagiri Assembly Constituency today to create awareness among fishermen. While appealing at that time Mr. Kulkarni said, the administration has implemented a unique initiative of public awareness today by holding a boat rally in Bhagwati, Mirkarwada port. This is a unique rally to create awareness among fishermen brothers that they should participate in voting. More than 150 boats have participated in this rally. Through this rally, I appeal to all fishermen, commercial boat owners to come out and vote in large numbers on the 20th.
Everyone should try to increase the voter turnout – Upazila Election Rights
Today’s awareness boat rally has been organized as part of the sweep program to increase the voter turnout. Upazila Election Officer Rahul Gaikwad appealed that everyone should try to increase this percentage of voting. Surely, with such voter awareness rally, fishermen brothers, boat owners and their family members will increase the voting percentage of eligible voters and fulfill their duty as responsible citizens.
Voters should do their duty by voting – Jeevan Desai
Various activities are being implemented in order to create awareness among the voters to increase the voting percentage. Electoral Returning Officer of 266 Ratnagiri Vidhan Sabha Constituency Jeevan Desai appealed to the voters to come out in large numbers and cast their vote first and perform their duty in democracy. Various facilities have been provided at the polling stations. Ballot papers are being distributed door to door through central level officials. Voting is our right, right and duty, all voters should do it on November 20.
