Dodamarg, D-23:– Umesh Balu Phale aged 32 from Maneri Dhangarwadi went missing two years ago while going to work in Maneri Dhangarwadi. At that time, the relatives had also filed a complaint in the Dodamarg police station. Relatives had also searched for him in the canal as well as in the river bed. But it was not found. Meanwhile, how the suspect took Umesh Phale to Goa for drinking and killed two accomplices on suspicion of having an immoral relationship with his wife. Three persons from Usap have been arrested after the evidence that the body was dumped in the canal has created a stir in Dodamarg taluk. Umesh Balu Phale, 32 years, Rah-Dhangarwadi, Maneri, on suspicion of having an immoral relationship between the accused Rajaram Gavas and the deceased’s wife of Two Dodamarg Post Guran 82/24 Bhdwi C 365, bearing in mind the fact that the accused had repeatedly abused Rajaram Gavas, Accused Rajaram Gavas and his accomplices namely (2) Aniket Naik, 3) Sachin Bandekar cut the deceased and took him to Bicholi Canal near Ghatwadi, Vadeshwar Mandir to drink liquor and there Suspect 2 grabbed his hands and Suspect 3 his legs. The arrested suspect 1 killed the deceased by kicking his genitals and hitting his head with a stone and dragged his body for about 150 meters and dumped it in the Tilari to Bicholim Canal towards Goa. Suspects 1) Rajaram Kanshiram Gavas 2) Sachin Mahadev Bandekar (3) Aniket Anand Naik All R.U.S.P. have been taken into custody and after thorough interrogation, they have confessed to have committed the crime. The said suspect was arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Court within the time limit. The. V. Sections 364, 302, 201, 328, 120 (B) have been extended. Police Inspector Nisarga Utari Police Constable Ram Malgaonkar Police Constable Deepak Sutar and Local Crime Investigation Team have taken action under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Agarwal.
