Even if it is 12 proofs, voting can be done!

Don’t worry even if you don’t have Election Commission identity card

Ratnagiri: Voting process is going on on November 20 for the assembly elections to be held in the state. Twelve other proofs prescribed by the Election Commission along with voter photo ID will also be accepted at the polling station for voting.The preparations for the assembly elections to be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 have been completed through the system. The Election Department also conducted awareness campaigns to encourage voters to come out to vote. Election department has informed that 12 other proofs will also be accepted for voting for voters who are not going to vote because of the identity card issued by the Election Commission. It includes a total of 12 proofs like PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License.
