*”Our party (Shiv Sena) and seniors made a mistake in recognizing Narayan Rane. The same mistake happened in the case of these 40 traitors (Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his party people). Today some people from there (Shinde’s Shiv Sena) want to come back. But, we have clearly told them to give up the idea of returning”, said Aditya Thackeray, MLA of Shiv Sena (Thackeray) and official candidate of Mahavikas Aghadi in Worli Assembly Constituency. He said, “Before filing nomination papers during this assembly election, some people there had expressed their desire to return to Shiv Sena (Thackeray). However, we categorically rejected them”.
*Aditya Thackeray in an interview to ‘The Lallantop’ said, “Last week when the nomination papers were being filed for the assembly elections, eight people from Eknath Shinde’s group expressed their desire to return. Among these eight were two senior ministers. They wanted to come back. He wanted to contest elections from our party. They told us, you ask Saheb (Uddhav Thackeray), we will announce a revolt here, stage a big revolt, then apologize and then come back to the party,” said Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray. All right for us, now that you’ve been with them, we’ve seen your character. We don’t care whether we win or lose in the constituency you are planning to contest. But, we cannot take you back. Even if we lose in those constituencies, we will not take you back”. MP Aditya Thackeray said, “I am not very interested in talking about these people, Narayan Rane, MNS or these traitors. This seems like a waste of time. I don’t even like to argue with them. Where politicians spend most of their time in our country is accusing and criticizing each other. I don’t want to fall into it. I have no grudge against anyone”.
