Lanja: Through Jijau Sanstha d. Career guidance and free books were distributed to village students on 17th August evening at Sri Karanda Devi Khawadi Subdistrict Lanja District Ratnagiri.

Secretary of Jijau Sanstha Shri. Kedar Chavan in his speech informed the audience about the work of the organization and also expressed the belief that if our children get career guidance at the right time and in the right way, even from the rural areas of Konkan, they will become administrative officers. From the concept, this campaign is being implemented in the entire Ratnagiri district, he said.

Mr. Sandeep Patil, project director of Jijau, awakened the present students and parents of the village about unconventional and diverse career opportunities. What after school level competitive examination, 10th and 12th? Various opportunities like MPSC / SSC / Banking and College of Military Engineering / NDA / SPI / TISC were given detailed information and after that booklets were distributed to the students present.
